Announcement

As additive manufacturing moves to full-scale production, manufacturers need total control over their data and infrastructure. To meet this demand, Oqton is launching AMVero — a new on-premise, AI-powered real-time monitoring solution.

This universal tool acts as an expert assistant for the entire shop floor by automatically detecting critical build anomalies such as warpage, spatter, and recoater issues and visualizing them in the context of the as-built part. With intelligent alert configuration that filters out noise and targets only actionable issues, AMVero increases throughput and ensures quality by deploying Oqton's production-proven AI engine directly within your factory's secure environment.

A Universal Assistant for the Modern AM Factory

AMVero is a practical, straightforward monitoring tool designed for multi-brand fleets of Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) printers. It leverages the in-situ cameras already in your industrial machines, making it a minimally invasive software solution that avoids machine downtime or requalification.

"We believe powerful software doesn't have to be complicated," explains Michael Korenevsky, Senior Product Manager for AMVero. "With this new on-premise solution, we're giving operators an intuitive tool to manage the entire build process from a single dashboard, all while keeping their data securely in-house."

Powered by AI Trusted by Industry Leaders

AMVero is powered by the same core AI engine that has been validated in demanding cloud deployments by global leaders. Baker Hughes, a user of the AMVero cloud solution, attests to the reliability of this core technology.

"For us, the biggest win with Oqton's AI monitoring is the significant increase in throughput and quality control. By leveraging its real-time capabilities, we've not only minimized the need for extensive post-build inspections but have also drastically streamlined our internal processes. Specifically, we've seen a 98% reduction in engineering review time per build... This, combined with an 18% reduction in scrap costs, has delivered a powerful return on investment and significantly improved our operational efficiency."

From Data to Decisions

The new AMVero application ensures end-to-end traceability by logging all sensor data and anomalies into a comprehensive digital record. This data integrates with analysis tools like 3DXpert Build Inspection, where features like "Build Compare" allow a direct comparison to an approved "golden build," empowering engineers to approve parts with speed and confidence.
